Moses is one of the few characters whose complete biography is described by the biblical narrative, and the early events of his life characterize him as a product of his circumstances.

Born in Egypt, Moses is raised by Pharaoh’s daughter, who takes pity on the abandoned Hebrew baby. Moses, the man of God, was truly a remarkable person. His character was exemplary in a number of ways. And nowhere has that portrait been captured in such.

Finally Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, persuades Moses to delegate some of his responsibilities. For thought and contemplation: How did Moses, who was described as being the meekest man on earth, become so irritable and lose his temper.

These two Books were revealed by God, the Almighty, to his faithful servant Moses, on Mount Sinai, intervale lucis, and in this manner they also came into the hands of Aaron, Caleb, Joshua, and finally to David and his son Solomon and their high priest Sadock. Therefore, they are Bibliis arcanum arcanorum, which means, Mystery of all Mysteries.

Moses, the man of God, was truly a remarkable person. His character was exemplary in a number of ways. And nowhere has that portrait been captured in such a condensed package as in Hebrews Study this text carefully and be encouraged thereby.

The Exodus hero Moses. The Biblical Moses, portrayed here as a shepherd in a print by contemporary Israeli artist Mordechai Beck, protectively clasps a sheep in his arms.

His life continued as a life of faith as God led him step by step to carry out the purpose He had for Moses. My prayer as you study the life of Moses is that you would grow deeper in your own journey of faith, that you would be encouraged and be willing to let God.

The Torah are the first five Books of Moses, as dictated to Moses by God, but there have been rumours that Moses was granted secret wisdom that found its way into other Books. Written evidence for it goes back to the 4 th century: The Key of Moses, Archangelical Teachings of Moses, Secret Moon-Book of Moses, and so on.

The career and the works and the character of Moses culminate in the prophetic office. It was as prophet that Moses was essentially leader. It was as prophet that he held the place of highest eminence in the world until a greater than Moses came.

(1) The statesman-prophet framed a civil government which illustrated the kingdom of God upon earth. Finally, Moses is the principal author of the Pentateuch, the foundational books of the entire Bible.

Moses’ role in the Old Testament is a type and shadow of the role Jesus plays in the New Testament. As such, his life is definitely worth examining.

We first encounter Moses in the opening chapters of the book of Exodus. Moses (/ ˈ m oʊ z ɪ z,-z ɪ s /), also known as Moshe Rabbenu (Hebrew: מֹשֶׁה רַבֵּנוּ ‎, lit. Among Old Testament Bible characters Moses is looked upon as one of the best leaders. Moses has a unique story which showed God’s divine design for his life. In this post I will share with you 12 leadership principles from the life of Moses.
